Pursuing research in international trade and formulating, implementing and managing trade-related capacity building projects. Helping the Government of India and other stakeholders at the national, state and local levels to assess impacts and opportunities emerging from globalisation, FTAs and WTO processes; building capacities of stakeholders to influence evolving international trade rules; and enhancing preparedness for globalisation.
I worked as the Assitant Professor in the Agricultural Economics Research Unit (AERU) of the Institute of Economic Growth (IEG), New Delhi. I worked on various projects funded by the Ministry of Agriculture, Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), and Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR). I also coordinated research workshops on Rural Livelihoods and Well-being and Impact Evaluation Methods which were funded by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD)/Indian Society for Ecological Economics (INSEE) respectively.
